The Native Climate Commons web site has been constructed with the financial support of the United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) to the Tulalip Tribes of Washington Cultural Stories Project. This project is a first step in developing technology that integrates web forum technology with the ICONS software being developed to support tribally-based traditional knowledge and environmental information management and the restoration of tribal natural and cultural resources. Early support for the ICONS project (1996-1997) was provided by the International Development Research Centre (IDRC). None of the donors or sponsors is responsible for the web site contents, and there is no implied endorsement of any of its contents.
